CLUB COMPUTER PROGRAMME

DO ANY OF THE MEMBERS OF THE FORUM HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE OF USING A CLUB SECRETARY COMPUTER PROGRAMME.

I AM LOOKING INTO BUYING ONE FOR MY CLUB,I HAVE LOOKED INTO THE EAST COAST SOFTWARE ONE & ON THE FACE OF IT SEEMS TO BE ADEQUATE FOR WHAT A SMALL CLUB SUCH AS MY OWN WOULD NEED.

I HAD HEARD THAT I SHOULD WATCH OUT BECAUSE SOME WILL ONLY ACCEPT A CORRECT MASTER TIMER VARIATION INPUT WHEN WORKING OUT A CLUB RESULT.

THIS TYPE WOULD NOT BE SUITABLE FOR OUR USE.

ANY COMMENTS WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THANKS BILLY MCLAREN

billymac i got one a while ago from the site here for the cost of a book of stamps, never used it so must have a look but it was from this site, u sent a book of stamps and they sent u the disc, will have a look .

billymac, its on the downloads here on pigeon basics, do not know if still available, its the one from r.frayne@ntlworld.com  if not i have found the disk with instructions for the one i got i never used it as i am not a club secy.try the downloads, if no reply, u can have this one as it is just sitting dowing nothing, as i say i have not tried it maybe the webmaster could give u more details, on the disk its club calculator and utilities,

fifer i"ll try what you suggested & if i have problems,i might take you up on your offer of the disc.

its just that i have been approached by members of my club to do secretaries job next season & have decided that if thats what the members want at our agm. i"ll give it a go. meantime thanks for your help. billy

hi again fifer, have checked out the downloads as you suggested & the one you were talking about is only for calculating the club results, i wanted one that does a bit more than that.have spoken to the chap at east coast software & tried his trial one which seems perfect for what i want.
