Guest Posted December 31, 2005 Report Posted December 31, 2005 I came on during yesterday evening when most of you lot were asleep and I noticed that archive.org was listed as browsing. Does anyone know who archive.org is
Webmaster Posted December 31, 2005 Report Posted December 31, 2005 Archive.org is like a search engine, in as much as it will go through each page of content and index it. Archive.org makes an archive of the pages it finds while crawling the internet. It usually documents when a page was updated and can show the version before and after the update. This is what Archive.org say about themselves: "The Internet Archive is building a digital library of Internet sites and other cultural artifacts in digital form. Like a paper library, we provide free access to researchers, historians, scholars, and the general public." Webmaster
