I know from the contributors to this list that many live in former coal mining areas of the UK  and some of you may have been down the pits yourselves.

 

Tomorrow, please spare a thought or prayer fo the 12 souls who will be laid to rest after this tragic accident.

 

Please also spare a thought for the families of these pitmen who were put though incalcuable distress by being told that there men were alive then told some 2.1/2 hours later after celebrating and looking forward to being reunited, that they were in fact dead

 

One survivor who is in a critical condition in intensive care also needs your thoughts and prayers.
