ring neck dove

ive found a ringneck dove with a ring and number  smashing looking wee thing anyone know how to trace or any info at all on them ive got it in with my pouters and dont really want to just chuck it out as i doubt itll last long

what sort of ring it it just a clip ring? if it is anyone could have put this ring on it when it came into contact with them so i doubt there is any way of tracing who placed the ring there. i know people who have dont this with a robin for example and then watched over the years if it was still coming to their garden

no its a breeders ring 02 SCO 543?? handed it into the pet shop as the guy knows a collector
