Guest Posted March 18, 2006 Report Posted March 18, 2006 Great positive publicity, thanks for posting it
Peckedhen Posted March 18, 2006 Report Posted March 18, 2006 Wonderful. Thanks Gez - to think I have a pair of his pigeons - thanks to you. :K) I have great hopes for them - they are mating but still no eggs. What a feisty pigeon the cock is.....I put another pair in the loft with him today and he has turned into a monster...he wont let the other cock go anywhere.......keeps attacking him and trying to drive his missis too! He's sort of taken over the whole loft and the sputnik! I hope that he doesn't harm the new birds! :-/
westy Posted March 18, 2006 Report Posted March 18, 2006 sue he would do i had quite a few yearling cocks like that. had a few eggs smashed due to yearling cocks figthing the others sue after he has reared a couple he will calm down.

Peckedhen Posted March 19, 2006 Report Posted March 19, 2006 ::)Yes thanks. I think I made a BIG mistake letting him and his hen have the run of the loft for two weeks before I put any more birds in! Maybe I should have kept them confined to the nest box so he didn't think the whole place was his domain!!
