I TAKE IT YOU MEAN ARE WOMEN BETTER THAN MEN. I WOULD SAY IN SOME CASES BUT NOT ALL. BUT PREHAPS IF YOU GO ON PERCENTAGES, I THINK THERE MIGHT BE SOME INTERESTING RESULTS. BY THAT I MEAN NUMBER OF WOMEN FANCIERS TO MEN.

Greengrass i hope he means that too.. dont know if they are better but they certainly have a calming influence in the loft racing is a bit different tho. As you say the Numbers are not there to make a judgement but those women that are involved are very dedicvated as it is a very male (dare is i say chauvinistic at times) dominated sport not all that geared up or welcoming generally for women ...but i think with "new" man this could be changing.

i would say that woman fanciers, are in the main, far better than men fanciers, they have far more patience, and far more common sense, and have a way with pigeons.

I think most women fanciers are pretty good although they do some strange things I think some worry too much about color and not enough about performance but I think in other areas they are better than men

:-/ Well as a lady flyer myself.Must agree, ;D with the ladies here,we are better at flying pigeons than men, but you seem to be the better at homing pigeon. lol than we are.See as i look at it,there is alway something lurlking, ;D behind  a winning loft. ; ;D its called a woman.I am a partnership loft, i deal with all the day today runnings of the lofts,& the birds.Not saying that it makes me a better flyer,but it does make the bond with the birds better.If my partner tryed calling the birds in  ;D ;D well we, would not have clocked in for years, ;D  So girls ya have my vote :K) Speckled.

Lady flyers have more patience then men, they can think of more than one thing at a time and most women have little or no interest in the politics of the sport unlike our male flyers.

I know when I have to go away on work business and my wife takes over, the birds have a ball. They dread to see me coming back and entering the loft.I think us men expect too much and push our birds to the limit. I always wonder why they call it mother nature instead of father nature, woman seem to have the knack.

Well maybe this is the new future of the sport, if women are so good, why dont the women try to convince other women to race them. Saying that, I dont know if I could handle being beat week after week by a women LOL

Resaon being.Sbelbin,depends on the intrest you men let us woman take towards the sport,if ya shut in the back ground, & not aloud to have ya say,thats not intresting, \ but if where aloud  to have an opion, &  say thing like you men do, without taking offence, then be pepered to beaten every week.You just cant get anyone intrested in a sport,thay have to be dedecated to what  thay wont to achive. Thats one thing about this sport all things are equal between the sexes there are no white tees in pigeon racing ! if a man or woman wins its on the merits of their birds and handeling not on physical attributes I am glad "firebug" dosent live in my neighborhood as I am pretty sure she would beat me which would be bad enough

( LOL )  But  judging from some of her comments I bet it would be rather humorous to listen to the recap ( at my expense )  I have got my new girlfriend into racing she has 10 breeders now and I am expecting her to win some races this year I am sure with some of the guys in our club she will have a tough time but most are very accepting of her not that she really cares though she has learned that down there if you win you arent that well recieved although she has already bought a " YOU GOT BEAT BY A GIRL " t-shirt and I am sure thats not going to help she bought me a shirt also mine says " PIGEON WIDOW " so I guess in the grand scheme of things I now know my place although I still have to handle snakes and hawks

all the above points are good points. i think the pigeons resond to women better. my garndad always says the best season he ever had was when he was wrking shifts in the steel works and my grand mother looked after them clocked them in etc.
