just read me homing world and it says that the nipa has got a permit to race channel for 2006 season is  this  true or is it the channel island???

ON MONDAY PETER BRYANT CONTACTED DEFRA IF THEY WOULD INCLUDE A DISCUSSION ON CHANNEL RACING AT THE MEETING THEY WERE HAVING YESTERDAY 12/04/06. HE DID NOT HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE MEETING BECAUSE DEFRA INFORMED HIM THAT EVEN THOUGH OTHER COUNTRIES WERE HAVING RACING IT DID NOT MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE TO THEIR PLANS BECAUSE THEY FELT THERE WAS STILL TOO MUCH OF A RISK HERE AND ABROAD AND THEREFORE THEY WOULD NOT BE ALLOWING ANY RACING AT ALL OUTSIDE THE MAINLAND AND THIS WOULD STAY IN PLACE UNTILL FURTHER NOTICE.SO WE ARE NOT RACING TO OR FROM ANY PLACE OUTSIDE BRITAIN.
