Guest beautyhomer Posted November 11, 2007 Report Posted November 11, 2007 Hi Beautyhomer are you at Queensferry this month havnt tried with cardboard only the stiff card to keep them out but that Holle is a bit flighty at the moment anyway Yes I am hoping to be at Queensferry
Guest Posted November 11, 2007 Report Posted November 11, 2007 I only have it on my pens as it was just some card we had lying about so it now gets used on the pens for pen training, when at the shows they are in open pens except the holles which are supposed to have closed sides on there pens so they can perform for the judge without distraction of other birds Beautyhomer are your initials A.W.

PigeonClarke Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 How often do you pen train with them Steph. A good thing about keeping flying breeds is 99% of the judgeing is done in the hand
Guest Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 once they are pen trained we put them in once a week just to remind them about standing etc. None of our birds are Judged through the wires all are handled but its always nice to have your birds standing nice to begin.
