box perch's

hi all,i am thinkig of biulding box perchs 10 inchs square and 10-12 inchs deep,would this be suitable? any other suggestions,,,ted

I always like the idea of the melamine perches cause you can see bad droppings right away

I LIKE THE BOX PERCHES BECAUSE I FIND IT EASIER TO CATCH THEM WHEN BASKETING , I HAVE A SIMILAR IDEA TO HYACINTH I USE SQUARES OF PERSPEX ON THE BOTTOM EASY TO CLEAN HARBOURS LESS BUGS.

Had box perches 10" x 10" x 10" and found they weren't wide enough to allow the bird to turn and face front again. Altered them to 12" wide, height and depth unaltered, and OK.
