just got y/bs in and noticed one has wing dragging on floor, looked at wing and the wing butt is all black and swallon is it broke, what shall i do, if you open wing it snaps back

doesnt sound broken,if the wing sprung back in again,, ittl more likely to be badly bruized, and usually takes some time to recover,

should i keep in a basket for a few days jimmy

usually they manage to fly back somehow , then the next day they are unabe to fly, why not put a low perch for it, that would let it jump up and give it peace, i would also stretch the wing out gently a few times each day, save it seizing up, ive had them like that b4 and went on to win, but off course its difficult over the internet , to diagnose things, but best of luck anyway, bren.

cheers jimmy for advice , i've only had pigeons since this year and they amaze me how brave and tough they are , how can they damage a wing badley and still get home ,
