Ours up at 09:00 - approx 200 birds up on their own.

 

131 miles - 2 hrs 52 mins. (2 together) - sent 7

 

Any times from Taunton into Midlands?       Heard nowt & off Triathlon training now

johnny- im not a member but was thinking of joining on the day. Eastbourne isnt it?and yearling race,might put 2 in.

Gez it is eastbourne only £12.00 I think to join.

 

Any idea of your distance from there as with it being so far in the East I feel we will stand no chance, as we fly roughly same distances and on a normal race we get lots of overfly from the Deeside lads.

i fly 232 from eastbourne what do you fly?

239. that is why we will not stand a chance in this race, we get 7 mile off some flyers on the Wirral

i fly 238 and give johnny about 900 yards and any west in the wind he will beat me.i fly more westerly than johnny, the birds come over the allotments were johnny flys and i still have to give them the overfly

We won it - 1st & 2nd - both 2 1/2 mins clear...  Aye - excellent race  with good returns for once!

now your using your head.anybody thats in the east to you will beat you but as the race points move easterly you will get more overlfly dont you think thats why your flying from eastbourne as voted by the chester 2bird committee.

Exactly, going by Gez distance at Prestatyn that will make the deeside lads flying the same distance as us on the allotments. the wind would have to be very strong to beat the deeside lads flying the same distances and on a normal day they come right over deeside. Also only getting 7 mile from Prestatyn.. the mind boggles

 

I may change my mind now about sending
