i got 5 tipplers lastnight and im wondering if they would attempt to go back to their old loft? if i keep them in for a week do you think they would be ok to get out?

the person i got them from lives quite far from me.

why dont you just breed from them first then try them out and if you loose any you always have there youngsters to fall back on  ;)

thats true. but i keep fantails and would like something to watch while im outside.

i could get eggs from them and let the fantails sit on the tipplers eggs.

When I had tipplers when I was younger I had a pair of 5 year olds return to their old loft 53 miles away, even though they were sitting eggs. They are very nervous birds to try and settle take Sammys advice breed out them first ;) ;) ;)
