Fanciers in or around Southampton

I've had an email from a nonfancier reporting a lost yearling in Southampton. If anyone is, or knows someone from around that area, could they get in contact with me to collect the bird; as the usual avenues to report strays in her words 'they dont really want to know' - which doesnt reflect well on fanciers or the pigeon sport.
