snowy Posted July 24, 2006 Report Posted July 24, 2006 noticed this morning, in stock loft, all dark patches of feathers on pigeons heads, all the adults have them, & the pigeons look darker in general?? any ideas why??

jimmy white Posted July 24, 2006 Report Posted July 24, 2006 could be a few things snowy, but nothing to worry about,,,sometimes if youve put c,l,o,in their food it can do this or any oily , wheatgerm , even hormoform the oil gets on there heads and makes it look dark , maybe youve basketed them with freshly cleaned basket with something oily, even creasote, and never had time to dry, or maybe even done the inside of loft, , but nowt to worry about :)
