Guest Posted July 29, 2006 Report Posted July 29, 2006 On the second Saturday in August Central Oregon will be celebrating a Celtic Festival and Highland Games. We have a lot of people here descended from Scottish Immigrants and they are very proud of their heritage. We will be seeing Pipe Bands, Highland Dancing and of course caber tossing. Burns Night is always celebrated here. click on the link below to see the registered Oregon Tartan. http://www.caledoniansociety.com/origindex.htm If the birds are back on time, I will be going and joining in the fun, especially the dancing and yes I can dance The Lancers and The Gay Gordons <VBG>
