all the controllers who had birds on the correct site had called each other and organised liberation times. The first anybody knew Fife were there was when their birds appeared behind the buildings.

Greengrass with both Fife and Glasgow up at the same time did any Fife birds end up in Glasgow. The reason is that we got a few in Stirling. There was a team of about 30 birds flying back and froward or some time. We had 5 Fife birds land on our loft none went in could only read one ring su06f 4175 or 8175 small cheq. hen hope whos birds they were they returned in the afternoon.

hi john i have not heard of any but there were a lot of birds floating around going nowhere. The Glasgow birds had kitted up and were just leaving the site heading north when the fife birds went up, luckily we had a good race with winning birds doing high 1300 ypm, and excellent return all round at our club. i noticed on the leven club site they were doing 880 ypm so it looks as though they had it sticky. The only stray i had in is one from aberdeen i think, su 06ab 2111, have posted it on the lost birds page.

ps congratulations on winning your club race, well done.
