Guest TAMMY_1 Posted July 31, 2006 Report Posted July 31, 2006 A MEMBER IN OUR CLUB WHO STAYS OVER THE BACK FROM ME RACED THEM AND HE BOUGHT THEM FROM A MAN IN ENGLAND CALLED TOMMY MALLARBURN AND THE BIRDS NEVER DID ANYTHING FOR HIM BUT THEN AGAIN HE NEVER HAS MUCH LUCK WITH ANYTHING HE BUYS.

Guest slugmonkey Posted August 5, 2006 Report Posted August 5, 2006 We just bought 2 and are flying them in Spring Hill I have some grizzles that I bred down from a Schellikins " Black Devil " and a half sister to a Jos Thone Verca Laga winner I have 2 and am retiring both to breeding this year as we sold the hen and I cant breed anymore and both are consistent performers

Guest Posted August 7, 2006 Report Posted August 7, 2006 No, 71, he brought them in from Europe, I think he bought birds off a Barcelona Winner who was a grizzle. He won the 300 mile race of The Spirit of Colorado last year by 20 minutes with a grizzle cock by a good 25 minutes, the nest mate was also in the money I think about 18th place, it was a very hard race and the second bird was a couple of hours behind the cock
