Guest ljb107 Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 Does anyone know what size clip rings I need for Lahores?
Guest ljb107 Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 I know the closed ring size but I want to know the split ring size. :)
pjc Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 i think it will be 10mm but if you use coiled rings they will adjust to the size.
Guest ljb107 Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 I think I use 8mm for old german owls and helmets but they won't fit on lahores so I will buy some 10mm and see if they fit. Are 12mm too big?
pjc Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 What colours have you got and do you show them?
Guest ljb107 Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 I don't show them but I have blue bar, blue chequer, black shield, red bar, red chequer and cream bar.
pjc Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 we've got black shield, red, yellow, silver cheq, blue bar, mealy and cream but do show occasionaly.
pjc Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 I guessed that from your dragon logo and Cardiff, south wales location! Why don't you show them?
Guest ljb107 Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 I was going to go to the swansea show in jan but couldn't go :'(
pjc Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 Swansea is a good open show, the club shows are fairly good as well. There are a few members there with OGO's, Francis Bradbourne, Brian Jones, Jamie Vaughan and my wife normaly show them with a couple of other members who occasionaly turn out with em.
pjc Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 I would be nice to get some fresh blood, I have cut her pairs down to 6 this time and don't plan to breed to many youngsters. What I do breed this year will have to be spot on breed standard or the rings will be recycled. It is very easy to get over run with them as they breed so well. I sent most of the spares to a friend in Falmouth last year but for a couple of years before that a lad in Port Talbot has had them.
Guest ljb107 Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 can you send me some photos of them by pm?
Guest ljb107 Posted March 21, 2008 Report Posted March 21, 2008 you can see some photos of mine on my website.
pjc Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 nice web site. The birds look well. How long have you had the OGO's and where did they come from? Phil
