Guest Vic Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 Hi Guys, I have a mate, who packed the pigeons in a few months back, who is now in a dilemma concerning weevils. He kept his corn in a spare bedroom in his house. Recently on examining the corn, he has discovered that that the weevils have had a field day and are everywhere. The maize has been devoured, leaving a pile of dust. The weevils have taken over in a big way. He is losing sleep with them. (can't get to bo bo's) Anybody had a similiar experience and how does he get rid? Vic.
johnny11 Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 Vic There is a fancier in Birkdale Lancashire who is a pest control expert, I can give you his number if your mate is interested john
Bobthegas Posted October 9, 2006 Report Posted October 9, 2006 Vic, i used to keep canaries and british birds and always found that if you kept seed, oats and wheat for a while however dry,you will get weevils. Buy a box of porridge, open it dont use it for six months, tip it all out and you will be amazed. Bob
