Aplogies for tidy-up in three posts. As last post says, the object is to maintain respect / remain respectful of all members / members views irrespective of your personal opinions or feelings.

On this thread: have only direct experience of two types of floor, wood and concrete. Saw marine ply yonks ago when McQuire Bros., Larkhall built their new loft out of 8' x 4' boards; their (then) loft manager's scraper was a shovel and didn't seem to do the floor any harm.

Surprise on the concrete front though - only one tiny part of mine is exposed. Birds droppings seem to corrode it???????

KNOW TAM WELL PITY HIS BROTHER DIED A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO, ABOUT THE CONCRETE BRUNO KEN BUCHANAN TOOK ALL HIS WOODEN FLOORS OUT TO PUT CONCRETE IN A COUPLE YEARS BACK IF I SEE HIM TODAY WILL ASK HIM HOW HE GOT ON WITH STONE FLOORS, BUT HE ALSO PUT DRAINS IN AT THE BACK SO HE COULD HOSE THEM OUT MAYBE MAKE A DIFFERENCE
