NEVER HAD THEM AND NEVER EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT GETTING THEM. USED STALL TRAPS WHICH I WOULD NEVER CHANGE.

ON THE OTHER SIDE MY MATE OVER THE BACK FROM ME HAS USED SPUTNIKS AND HE SAYS HE WOULD NEVER USE ANYTHING ELSE SO SAME AGAIN WHAT SUITS ONE MAN WILL NOT SUIT ANOTHER, I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR THOUGH FROM THEM THAT USE SPUTNIKS WHAT THEY THINK IS THE ADVANTAGE OF THEM .

I have sputniks, but also made a bob trap that fits at the back so if a bird pees me about it has to jump in the sputnik and then through a bob, which seems to deter cats. Its hard to explain but it works and they trap spot on race days. A lad who had used open doors for ages came round and watched mine one day and was amazed how little time they lost. And there great if you have to get to work and one wont come in, as I hate locking widowhood cocks out!!!

The thing I dont like about stalls is they dont get to see there surroundings like they can in sputniks, thats YBs not widowhoods.

I HAVE A LANDING BOARD THE FULL LENGTH OF THE LOFT AND WHEN THE YOUNG BIRDS ARE PUT IN I HAVE A MESH CAGE THE FULL LENGTH AGAIN AND THEY COME OUT ONE OPENING AND WHEN THEY ARE ALL OUT THAT DOOR IS CLOSED AND THEY HAVE TO GO IN VIA STALL TRAPS AND WHILE THEY ARE IN THE CAGE THEY CAN SEE A LOT MORE THAN THEY CAN IN A SPUTNIK TRAP

ive used both stall traps and sputniks, both work ok, just have a sputnik now, which leads to the coridor so if i have got to go to work early i can let the birds out and then they can go in when they like.
