Guest Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 What is the best bird you have had in what is loosely termed as the "show bird "side of things, that is as in your best winning bird in the showpens and what type was it ? Have several racing pigeons that win in the pen consistently for me,mainly delbars x krauth but I have a little vandenbeele hen who consistently breeds me winners so although she is past winning herself due to age she is arguably the most important pigeon in the racer loft as she is a proven breeder
lawrie Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 i havnt established a good family of birds yet due to just starting to breed show birds, but i have brown saddle indian fantail which is one of the niceist looking birds i have ever seen. he also has brown grizzle on his chest and head. and hes massive! i also have a nice looking white tippler whith a silver triangle from the bottom of his kneck all the way down his back. im going to pair him with a black and white hen. see what i come up with!

carlsberg Posted January 27, 2008 Report Posted January 27, 2008 some may think their nice but i can't see the beauty in them. not like in the show racer classes this is probably where i like looking at fancy birds the most
Merlin Posted January 27, 2008 Report Posted January 27, 2008 I wouldnt be the Worlds greatest fan of Show Birds, you could not help but show admiration for these two birds, and the condition that they have been snapped in Well Done they are a credit to their owner.
