Chatrace Posted October 8, 2006 Report Posted October 8, 2006 The 300 Mile race is over and again it was a rough day with head winds all the way. The PB birds didn't score. Had 18 birds in the Clock when I had to leave to report and 4 others came in as day birds . This morning there were 3 more in the loft before 8:15 am. We did very well in the Club getting 3.4.5.6.7.20,27.2829,and33rd in the top 10% shipped. The 1st 5 birds were all on the same drop so really eaqual to 1st you could say. Results are shown on site http://hometown.aol.com/chatrace2001/RaceResults.html and here is a photo of winner:

Chatrace Posted October 23, 2006 Report Posted October 23, 2006 We had one more 360 mile race the birds performed very well again. The results are not in yet. I have started to send out some of the birds that made the whole season to The AU Help a Beginner Program that Linda is in charge of. I have 11 more left and look to see them all gone very soon. Here are the last 11 that will be given to new Flyers. here is a site that shows what they can pick from :-) http://hometown.aol.com/chatrace2001/HelpaBegginer.html
Guest Posted October 24, 2006 Report Posted October 24, 2006 I don't know how I am ever going to thank Bill for his very generous donation to the help a Beginner Programme. My Beginners are very excited at getting birds from Bill and to be able to choose from the photo's on the web page is really great for them. Thanks so very much Bill, you are really appreciated.
