How did you become interested in pigeons?

my uncle got me involved always went round his house helped out with the birds and always had a passion for them ever since and soon my dream of haveing my own loft at the age of 33 is to become a realty and i cant wait

started going round the local lofts on a sunday morning aged 11,annoying all the fanciers most of whom were miners working in the local pits of which there were many at that time.wasnt long before they gave me birds & my uncle who was and still is a

fancier built me my first loft with wood donated by another uncle also a fancier.

that was 46 years ago,with only 2 short breaks from having the birds,one of which was at the start of this year.

i found a squeaker out side a pub took it home hand reared it and well they eventually took over lol ;D

I wish I knew, so I could go back and erase that day I got the bug LOL
