AigleAwirs Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Hello. I have bought to the Rosmalen show a couple of chocolates Meulemans . Those birds have a very special colour (recessive red). Do you know some fanciers who have had success with that kind of pigeons? Do you think I must continue to inbreed? Thanks
Guest shadow Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 A friend of mine bought some chocholate meulamans and had no succes with them paired together or with them crossed so he got rid of them
schouwman71 Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 ive had a few over the years, did quit well with them but get some dark vanden bosch birds and pair them to them you will still get the chocolates out of them plus you will make them stronger. My mate has all my old jan, vandenbosch pigeons now and there still super pigeons even though hes had them for 8 years now and he breeds the chocs from them.our 1st combine winner from 207mls was bred from a choc hen..
