A Great meal was had by all in great surroundings and great company was in abundance. G Rankin & Son win the following cups in 2006.C Barnes cup for the Old bird average, Canada cup, A Nicol cup, F Stubbs trophy, Yearling trophy for Leicester, N Rodger trophy for 5 races, J Nelson trophy first Nom bird in Maidstone, J Rodger trophy for inland average, A Mckitting trophy Inland points, W & M Wilson trophy for first in SNFC gold cup race, J . S Simpson trophy, J Sheridan cup for most points young birds, cup for runner up in young bird average and then finally the combined average. J Newbiggin won the Muir trophy for the spint champion, Lodge St Thomas trophy for the highest winning velocity, T Welsh trophy, C Ralston trophy, A Hamilton trophy. J Finnan won the T McQuire trophy and the J Love trophy. Robertson and Scott won the T Frame trophy for the 4 longest race average, R Kirkwood trophy for winning Maidstone, J Lockhart & Son Nomination trophy. L Cummings wins the T Jenkinson trophy for 1st yearling in Maidstone and the D Simpson trophy for the 3 longest race average. A K Lockhart won the J Moore memorial trophy for the lowest winning velocity, Runner up in the old bird average,W O'Neill trophy, Campbell shield, Princess Diana trophy, Young bird average winner and also the runner up to the combined average. R Simpson won the L Cummings trophy, A Smith trophy, colour picture for winning Falaise and also the young bird KO.
