Guest Paulo Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 The Elite Modern System Many of the best fanciers in the north of England are already using this system. Don't be left out using out of date methods! Remember: the 3 main things in pigeon racing are: 1.The pigeon 2.The fancier 3. The corn and the system The easiest one to change and get right is the corn. Don't carry on using the same old feeding system if the results are poor. The Modern System with enzymes from Dufky Elite has been scientifically developed so that the racers get the right corn at the right time of the week when they need it. The Elite modern System is made up of the following mixtures: Recup Mix with Enzymes After prolonged flight, the strength of your pigeons needs to be rebuilt gradually, in a manner that does not require any extra digestive effort on the behalf of the racer. The Recup Mix has been developed for this purpose. There is no wasted food as the barley that the widowers don't eat has been stripped. "Easily the finest depurative mixture ever made!" Extra Build up Mix with Enzymes In the days following the race, it is important that the digestive system is not over burdened. This is why we use the build up mix to bring the racers back into top condition. This contains a maximum of 14% protein and is made up from 23 dietary components. This can be used when young birds are flying and can also be given to the long distance racers starting 8 days before basketing. Energy Mix with Enzymes Fats are the best source of energy for racing pigeons, without which, a racing pigeon cannot truly give its best! It is important that these fats are digested and stored as easily as possible, without putting the birds under additional stress in the days before basketing. The Energy mix provides the necessary levels of fats that the birds need. "This is the mixture you need to use to get the extra body on the birds for the distance racers." What are the advantages of the Elite Enzymix? • Only becomes active following ingestion with other foodstuffs • Improves the conversion of starch into sugars and aids the digestion of protein into fats. • Gives your birds additional energy & results in noticeably fewer and dryer droppings • Is 100% natural & can be used to feed pigeons of all ages "Over the last few years, we have known fanciers travel over 70 miles to get their hands on this superior corn and system, to give their racers the best chance of obtaining the best results." "Don't be left out of the prizes again, try the Modern System from Elite!" The Elite Enzymix Modern System !! Give It Try and See The DIFFERENCE !! Guest shadow Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 Some people will believe any thing, what happened to keeping the system simple. I have won many races from 60 to 500 miles without wonder feeds. :)
Beanz Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 Seems like hard work to me, pigeoning should be a hobby not graft
birdman55678 Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 It took me over 20 minutes to read threw that whole spiel and now I can't tell ya what I read except its something new... Ed ;D ;D ;D
jimmy white Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 YES AS IT SAYS ,,,GIVE IT AND SEE THE DIFFERANCE,,,,,,,,,IN YOUR POCKET :)
birdman55678 Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 Jimmy don't you mean "out of your pocket". :'( :'( Ed
Guest Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 Isn't this system something like The Bosmolen one that was going the rounds a few years ago ???. Just another scheme to confuse the fancier and empty his/her pockets. Our club seem to race very well on the one and only type of feed we can get here, plus locally grown barley.
Guest Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 i agree fully with hyacinth, these companies are doin this to make money,is there a company that isnt in it for the money? i think u have to experiment with mixes but u can only give ur pigeon so much, then the rest is down to ur managment and training methods. heres an example of how racing puzzles u....i topped the fed here in wales feeding farm beans, maize ,peas and small round ball like dog biscuits from lidl,s...they devoured them and couldnt get enough. btw its the yellow bag about £1.49 a bag lol....i caught them eating them out of the dogs bowl one day....as they say ...the birds will tell u wot they like..mind u i did stop at actually giving them a tin of chappie a day lol......paul
jimmy white Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 yes all pigeon foods are adverised the best , i think its up to your own eyes ,taste and smell to find a good mix , not neccessary the dearest,,,,but on the subject of chappie ;D i had an old mealy [im sure some older fanciers will remember well] it took a position in every race from 62 miles to 608 miles and scored at 9 years old in a national , this bird would insist eating the bits of dog biscuit mixed with the dog meat,,,,and no it wasnt a barker ;D but a exceptional pigeon :)
schouwman71 Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 carnt feed like that in this type of weather, its still cold in april, some breeds need snap down them to exercise and to get fit to win.Its just another money making gimic again. :-/
Guest Paulo Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 feeding beans at the minute this system is designed for just feeding during racing I think. A very good fancier recommended it which is why I'm curious
Guest Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 Paulo When you're new to the Sport, you will be given all sorts of advice on feeding medicating, training etc. Some of the advice is good and some of it will empty your wallet. Some of the best advice around is posted to this forum, especially on feeding
Wiley Posted December 5, 2006 Report Posted December 5, 2006 some of the best things u do are also made up by urself mate!like a famous fancier down these ends once said to me 'do your own thing boy'! you can listen to to many people this can only make you worse. what works for one pigeon man doesnt neccessarily mean it will work for you.But its good to learn this things and try them out as a learning experience, visit as many lofts visual is always the best thing you can learn alot just by looking and listening. I tried a system this year to the word from a book i know alot of fanciers on this forum like 'east to west' have to say it was the worst old bird season ive ever had. come young birds done my own thing then the winning started coming through
Mr Staff Van Reet Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 If you are like me the TOP PRIZE WINNER in bot the clubs you fly in using your own system then DONT WORRY let them WORRY HOWS TRYING TO CATCH YOU. if you know what your doing and the birds are the BEST that you belive to be, then let the ACTION SPEAK LOUDER THAN THE WORDS on the PAY OUT NIGHT!!!!!!!! ;) ;D :o :o
schouwman71 Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 agree with wiley,do your own thing and learn from your mistakes, thats what i was told when i was young and i read everythink i could,Think i have just stepped back a bit in the last two years but going head on for next year.
birdman55678 Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 Doing your own thing will sometimes work and sometimes not, the important thing is to learn from your mistakes. I believe in the long run that feed really isn't of that great of an importance. Now here is why. You must have a variety of minerals and this will make up the difference in what your feed doesn't give the birds. I will say however it is very important to give quality feed that is clean and not spoiled in any way. After this post I am sure the arrows will start flying but I believe this statement is true as I have seen it done. One example is a flyer raced the whole season on just red wheat for feed with lots of different minerals and vits added viva his wateres. He didn't have outstanding results but did do well winning one 175 mile race and several diplomas during the season. Ed
