i like to get them out , especialy on those blue sky frosty mornings , loft doors windows every thing open, birds seem to love it , in my opinion this keeps there respiratory tracts in fine fettle, keeps the fat off the hens etc , but woud keep them in in fog, snowing or bucketing all day , but believe a shower of rain would do them no harm

LETTING THEM OUT ALL THE TIME MAKES IT EASIER TO GET THEM READY FOR WHEN THE RACING STARTS

Mines have been out for a good few weeks now as they are going to the Danderhall Club Cristmas race,From Morpeth approx 82 miles.

Had about 6 training tosses of about 20-30 miles so here goes

Sending 6, basket Friday night, lib Sat morning.Last year they were flying for around £6300 in pools and prizes.

theres 3 fanciers in my village, its like a game of russian roulete, the first to letum out will have a hwak strike and the hawk willstay at that loft.so its who has the bottle 1st!

open hole weather permitting, cocks one day and hens the next so about 3 times a week each plus bathing on a sunday!!
