Im going to look at a loft tomorrow thats for sale near me what do i look for and ask about the loft and what price would u offer for it 18 x 6 as he wants me to make offer as he wants shut of it asap

How old it is ,look for rotten timbers and is it home made or not and will it take down easily if its not too bad offer in the region of £250 and then you can increase if your offer is not taken but dont go to high for an old loft :)

Must be dry easy to take down and put back up in sections. If it is an old loft and painted inside this could be hiding faults rot, etc. Price depends on what was use to build it, tongue & groove, overlap, or ply, chip board, and how good the frame work is. Also take into account the price of getting it from A to B. If your not sure take some pics of it post them on here tomorrow and im sure people on here will tell you if it is good and what price to pay.
