Found these sites pretty good, type in either a post code or a place name. Lots of add-ons including satellite pics, and grid references latitude & longitude. One of them will also give you the weather at the site, so a good training aid too.

You get lat. and long. off the multimap link, but where do you take that to get a distance? is there software available?
