Guest CS Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 A question for those that use Iodine in the drinking water. How do you mix it i.e how many drops per litre and can you mix it with other products like Apple Cider Vinegar for example.

Putting Iodine in the drinking water in my view is not as good as putting in Vinegar. Before Iodine came about they use vinegar as a disinfectant i.e. delivering babies washing down before operation etc. You will find vinegar is better than Iodine for drinking as vinegar only kills the bad bacteria and does not harm the good.
Ian Gill Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 Hi Craig, You can buy impact from Gem which is good gear Vinegar raises the ph level in the pigeons gut, thus inhibiting the growth of salmonela,e coli etc
Guest slugmonkey Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 Be VERY careful too much Iodine can be very harmful I give kelp flakes to increase Iodine
