tubbles Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 Heres mine to add on matey. Not much to look at but functional. This year i built the Aviary with a supertrap on the front, since the pic was taken i have put a roof over it all and finished staining it Red. Hope the pic is not too big. The loft is home made incase you didn't realise lol. It measures 19ft long by 6foot deep and houses at most 15 cocks (widowhood) and perches (46 but hope to get to around 40). Front is tongue and groove floorboards the rest is Ply with a felted roof sloping towards the back. I also have a 12 foot stock and widowhood hen shed, 8ft for stock and 4ft for the hens in boxes(not to race) Lol and i started off with a 14ft everything shed. that was stock old and youngbirds.
stevebelbin Posted March 9, 2007 Report Posted March 9, 2007 Nice tidy set-up tubbles ;D. It would be good to do a topic on peoples lofts, with problems they have come across and how they have got over them etc. If I was going to build a new loft I would do it completely different to my current lofts
