rockinrick Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 hi all i have jus noticed earlier when feeding my new stock birds i found i had a cock bird wid a black eye he is 4yr old is this a breed thing or is it a weakness in the iris ? :-/
NANCYVIEWLOFTS Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 its called a BULL EYE which does look black until you hold the bird facing you and look at the eye from the front they are normally found in gay pieds or from a family of birds that have a lot of pieds in them
Guest REDFOXKRAUTHS Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 yes that is correct, have a close look at it mate
crazy pigeon boy Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 it is a normal thing to have bull eyed birds it makes no difference to breeding or racing as i had a red pied cock that won for me in races and has bred winners also
rockinrick Posted March 18, 2007 Author Report Posted March 18, 2007 thnx guys , is there any where i can get a chart or somethin like that to compare on all eyes ?
