Are his offspring usually two cock's? also is he a henny looking cock?if so he could have started out as a hen and changed sex in the egg.Just something i read about but not sure where.

Have posted elsewhere similar experiences with my own pigeons over the years. And doesn't seem to matter if they are henny looking or not.

Must be a power thing, used to work on a farm and young steers and heifers used to mount each other all the time, and how many dogs have we seen try it on with a leg or a football.

Its a shame its happening in the stock loft, a mate of mine had 2 cocks paired together in his race team, between them they won every race they were sent to. It all stopped cause he lost one of them.

Although I didn't win with the bird, I had a similar experience with two young cocks, nest mates, that paired up together. The bird was 3rd club, 29th Fed Ripon 157 miles. Wondered how I was going to get them to pair up with hens in the spring considering they were together all winter, but they did!  :)

i have this in my racing shed now, one cock big and bold wouldnt have thought anything like a hen, but his colouring says it all a gay blue pied. lol but on a serious note he also allows a couple of cocks treading him, he won for me last year as a baby but maybe he might race better, ive called him Michael Barrymore because of his famous phrase 'awight up the back'
