sent to a local open race saturday never enterd one before....from swainswick...only 75 miles to me..

22 flyers sent 280 birds fresh north east wind.............i sent 7 cocks

 

 

plum last...lol....15 mins behind winner...lmao

 

anyway ..took my 4 year old daughter with me to take my clock back to be read..

in the middle of the times being read out my daughter said at the top of her voice ..i think youve won it dad.....i could ov crawled up my own jacksee...lol

theres another one this week will see if i can improve.....

cant drop no lower...hehehehe

Keep tryin Ed, you will get there eventually.......and even more so, keep takin the littlun with ya, get her involved with the birds if you can. It's better than winning seeing the littluns around the garden! Its a great thing to be blessed with the joy of children, and its lovely to hear their mischief! I have a nephew thats about 27 months old, creates mayhem when he's at the garden, thinks he's Darth Maul, but he's a huge miss when he isn't there I can tell you! Caught him last Sunday, in playing with the young bird darky team! Just talking to them, tried to handle a few himself. I swear to God, he asked me what one of my young Silver's was off!! He sounded like he'd been a pigeon man for over 30 years! Best of luck next week mate!

i think it takes time winning a race, the guy i get my pigeons from said it would take me years to beat him, i know of some people who have tried to beat him for years and have only once been sucsessfull once by a second, i dont think i will ever win but here in my club top ten is just as good,
