ingeminate Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 Hi all, Is it possible to buy a pigeon have it trained up and then watch it race without actually involving yourself in the pigeon's day to day life at all? I appreciate that for many of you this defeats the point, but I would like to do this for my grandfather as a surprise - he used to race pigeons but now is very elderly and would be unable to look after them himself. I think though he would enjoy following races, Any answers are most appreciated, Best Regards, Toby

You could buy or get a pigeon bred for you for free then enter it in a one loft race. have a look on the rpra oneloft race website,
Wiley Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 cheers for the replies - based in West London Hi mate, I'm based in East London, your grandfather would be most welcome to take a visit to the lofts and to watch a couple of races, if it would put a smile on your grandfathers face. Let me know mate and maybe we can arrange something!
