Vaccine

Hi Guys,

 

I need some advice. I am getting my first birds tonight and I need to know what they need to be vaccinated against. And also when do I vaccinate? Any info is of course very much appreciated.

Colombovac PMV Vaccine is what you need against paramoyixs (spelling)

 

Can vaccinate any time but your club will have a deadline set for birds to be vaccianted for racing speak to your club sec.

 

If the birds aren't racing and you are getting them as pets they don't need to be done. Vaccine can be obtained from firms that advertise in back of the homing world or just do an internet search for it.

Just one more question: The vaccine on evsdicrect, does it need the gun to injection or is oral?

 

Just checking because I was trying to look but cant see any info.

They supply disposable spryines with it. Or you could buy a gun if you think that is easier. Most clubs require two witnesses when you inject anyway so there should be no shortage of people who will do it for you.

You need to find a club, and they will help you inject them, they may have an injection gun, if not you get a needle with the vaccine, but you need two witnesses!!

 

And really, even if there pets you need a certificate of vaccination, if you are to train them, or defra can fine you!!!
