Thanks Rab, that means a lot after seeing some of your team the last couple of nights. I'm not intersested in showing them, I'm more into the flying and not the looks although I like to see a bit of colour too. It's early days for me and the birds but I hope to get them as fit as the racer and out with the hawks, then we'll make judgement hopefully on the doo's side. Thanks again and lets see more opf yours Rab.

will try to get some more taken over the next few days .was a bit dull and overcast today

and some pics did not turn out to good ,   to dark  :) :)

I have never seen this type of bird before. Do they fly? They look very attractive, but I do not recognise the colour descriptions you use. Are these colour names just for this breed or are they used for all of the fancy breeds?

A few of the many colours and patterns of this breed. http://www.iberische-taubenrassen.de/ Unfortunately due to the Spanish civil war when feed was tight for humans never mind pigeons a lot of patterns were lost. Franco has a lot to answer for and by the way a lot of Scots fought along side the Catalan people. Have a look at this German site.

Sorry link not correct. Try this to go straight to Catalans and you'll see the diversity of colours and patterns
