roller kit boxes

hi ive been reading about roller kit boxes. i read about someone who had a 4x4 x30inches box and kept 20 rollers in it. has anyone done this and how did the birds get on , my first thought was overcrowding but i dont no a lot about rollers so i would   be interested in your comments thanks. lc

had a 4x 4 x 4 box before very small side boxes and mesch floor plenty of ventilation false bottom to slide out for easy cleaning , had birmingham rollers few more years might build another one now lofts finished and up and running

only had 20 in it flat roof chimley on it  no stale air , forgot to add was felted all way round
