Guest Posted May 27, 2007 Report Posted May 27, 2007 what would u recommend ? As everyone has said you can't beat a good selection of grits and minerals, but I think in every loft you get 1 or 2 birds that either don't eat it or don't eat enough or for whatever reason can be defficeint anyway. In extreme cases you can get something on vet prescription called calci-boost x which is a liquid, add half a mil to water for 5 days.It is not cheap and I think I would be tempted to try half a human calcium tablet from tesco's or somewhere first.
