deanbruton Posted May 26, 2007 Report Posted May 26, 2007 ours were the same best 2 cocks took 5 hrs. we were nearly an hour behind club winner.
Guest waynemorris Posted May 26, 2007 Report Posted May 26, 2007 looks to be an awful race 10 - 16 so far i must be at least 35 mins behind the winner but dont know exactly yet. what is the pigeon navigation site??? could you help me on that one
nigel holloway Posted May 27, 2007 Report Posted May 27, 2007 we were at Newbury and liberated at 6.30.am and had a very good race birds averaging 48 m.p.h..Why all the welsh birds are not going to the same racepoint and liberating together is beyond me,surely that would be better for everyone!south west glamorgan liberated at 6.30 and the Rhondda valey at 11.oclock both had good races.
thunderboult Posted May 27, 2007 Report Posted May 27, 2007 south west wales were also up at 11.00 o'clock from newbury(120mls) i had 13 out of 15 hens back who were having their first race of the year first birds took 2 1/2hrs
Wiley Posted May 27, 2007 Report Posted May 27, 2007 had a welshb bird in today will post ring number as there was no stamp in the morning being fed and watered
deanbruton Posted May 28, 2007 Report Posted May 28, 2007 still 4 cocks missing from saturday the rest noy very good for this week. Fifty mins behind winner in club vel roughly doing 1278. The one thing which annoys rhondda valley held in newbury til 1pm because of bad weather also the same thing happened the last reading race.
Guest Posted May 28, 2007 Report Posted May 28, 2007 ask any of the welsh north road fed how their birds came...a good few top flyers had good birds away and still have this morning so far!my best m8 ,who is a decent flyer didnt bother clocking because his birds were so far behind....sending 33 birds they were like getting blood from a stone....6 of his birds were sent to picaville national(south road)same day lib....thankfully he is in the running for winning the national between him and another top flyer.he hasnt got the distances for that race and they are being worked out .winner between (d ford blaenavon) and( r lambert abergavenny.)
