Eye pics

Just a quick one (again).

 

How do you take the picture of a birds eye to put in your loft organiser programme? I tried with my digital cam yesterday and I cant get close enough for the picture to come through properly. Can anyone advise?

Can you take a pic at the highest resolution your camera can do, then enlarge and crop the image in something like paint-shop pro or photoshop? Otherwise you'll need to buy or borrow a better camera!
