Recieved a phone call from a fellow fancier around the corner from me saying he had a call from shu regarding a 1996 pigeon in the name Jimmy Stevenson (who has now pased away) who I took over the pigeons from.It was in a house only 2 doors away from where jimmy used to stay so i called the finder and went down to collect the pigeon which they had in there kitchen in the corner with a bowl of water and some food.

 

Picked the pigeon up and had a look at it looks like it maybe about 2yrs old not 12 and it was rung on the opposite leg from jimmy rung his. I think someone has had this ring and put it on this pigeon the ring number is SU96CA2974 it is a dark chequer hen if anyone recognises the ring number as being one of theres mabe been given to them please pm me
