Just a quick note regarding Belgian rung birds, i had a youngster drop in recently and just in case it belonged local I contacted the nehu as i thought the bird cant of come that far and i was right it hadnt it belonged to a lad about 10 miles away.

With so many belgian rung youngsters being brought back from markets etc it may be easier to contact the british ring offices first before contacting abroad,

Just a thought it may save time and money!!

cheers
