how many birds

ive just worked out that my new loft will be about 6ft x 8 ft

 

how many birds do you think i can comfortably keep ??

 

bearing in mind, that i let them out onto the garden most days

I would say no more than 12-15 birds

ive had the area paved

you still need space under floor off the paved area,if laid straight on paving mice and such like can nest under floor without you knowing......mice get in and pee on food and sick pigeons,,,,,just giving u precautionary measure samantha??????

hi samantha,,,remember your 12 birds will breed another 12 [probably less due to mishaps] but if your loft is well ventilated, and get out every day , you could probably stretch that to 20, if you needed to, but plenty fresh air is the secret

if its just perches in side 30 to 40 birds
