Asif Fida Posted July 21, 2007 Report Posted July 21, 2007 I am new to pigeon racing, please let me know about homemade recipes & tonics which can provide my pigeons a complete feed in all respects. Readymade feeds are not available in our region that is why I am interested in homemade recipes. Anyone knowing a recipe for young, racing, molting or breeding pigeons is requested to help me please. Kindly also mention the season i.e. summer, winter or spring etc during which the recipe shall be given. Thanks.

Guest Posted July 22, 2007 Report Posted July 22, 2007 I would suggest you contact local fanciers, they will be more aware of what grains are available to you and the cost. May also be a co-operative buying grain or pigeon mixes in bulk and selling these on to members?
Asif Fida Posted July 22, 2007 Author Report Posted July 22, 2007 First of all thanks to all who replied. The problem i have got is that all local fanciers are my compitetors who are never willing to provide me any recipe. My region is Pakistan as already mentioned by my friend Fifer. Because pakistan is an agricultural country approximately all types of grains and crops etc are available here. However i dont know the english names of these grains, if you advised me then i can translate your recipe in my language because i have an english to my language dictionary. Thanks again to all who contributed to this discussion.
