lordcornwallis Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 hi pigeon fans i need help and advice ive started feeding my kids 1/4 of an ounce all rounder am and one ounce pm all rounder is this enough for them. thay are not flying so good but to be fair thay have been out with the old pigeons up until now thanks lc
Marky5 Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 I would part them from the old birds if you have the space , put them on a treatment for Canker (Ridzol) and respiratory , use the canker for 5 days then vitamins for 2 days , then treat for respiratory for 5 days afterwards then 2 days of Vitamins , always feed them a heavy mix whilst treating , but not too much , only really feed once a day , then put them on half barley half all round , and add cider vinegar in the water , 1 teaspoon to 1 litre of water . Hope this has helped.
Marky5 Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 Use the cider vinegar in the water once per week.
jimmy white Posted June 15, 2006 Report Posted June 15, 2006 their better separated from the old birds, and let out at regular times if they dont fly then,,i would get their droppings tested , the cider vinegar would do them no harm, or even try garlic in their water
mobster Posted June 16, 2006 Report Posted June 16, 2006 does one tablespoon of feed enough for 1 bird? one in the morning and one in the evening.
Guest Posted June 16, 2006 Report Posted June 16, 2006 I feed 1.1/4 to 1.1/2 once a day which is enough, my YB's are flying for 3 hours
