WDA Race from Wakefield held back 24 hours

Just in case anyone on here is not aware the race for the West Durham Amal has been held back for 24 hours. God knows what they are thinking as the forecast for Saturday is fine but Sundays forecast is hoying it down.

 

Can race controllers or whoever makes these decisions not access the met office website?

 

spend days getting up at 4.30am to get pigeons ready for a race and some fool cancels when all the information is the race can happen on saturday but sunday is a no go area.

 

Checked the forecast for wakefield and it is sunny, durham has light showers but the birds will get through them ok. The race is only 70 odd miles.
