gurnays being raced today ?

does anyone know of anyone racing gurnays today with any sucsess ihave a few would like to get more but ones that are being raced regularly and getting results they are great pigeons on long distance  may people years ago dune alot of winning with them

the old gurnays were a great old breed im quite sure there will be fanciers still racing them , i think the prob now is that most of these breeds are" watered down now" but you allways get the odd fancier keeping the lines going ,, hope you have luck  ,,,,,,,,,but dont send amtrack to australia ;D ;D ;D ;D [no offence meant pioneer   pity you could get some one to bring eggs over though  ]

hi ,keep an eye out in the homing world,for two fanciers.one is a mr harris in north yorks and the other is arthur mellor,who i dont know is still well and strong,he had some gurnays which our the old school stuff. telephone no 01514246159.hope this info helps pdordin

We have a guy who shows racers here that has some although I dont know if he races them but I have seen him at several shows
