Fancy names not results !

I write this after watching ,reading and listening to fanciers why do so many want a "name" a"breed" and not performances or old english lines which perform.

It frankly amazes me people want the lastest name without looking to see if they will suit the fancier and thier method of flying etc.Just look at sales and advertisements Your views Chaps

i personally beleive that management is the main thing with pigeons [complete management 365 days] fancy breeds bring fancy money ,,,,but sometimes fancybreeds dont win fancy money ,,,,,,,,good pigeons will show in the right hands and i beleive there are many good pigeons out there ,some free , some very cheap, some expensive

Quite a lot of the pigeons that won for me this year or did well are of no particular breed , just triers .

thats why i have lots of diffrent "strains" i mingle them together! crosses are the best
